Monticello Auxiliary awards college scholarships to local students

CentraCare Health – Monticello’s Auxiliary provided three college scholarships to local high school graduates interested in pursuing careers in the health care industry.

New ice cream shop in town 'Fudgin' Delicious Ice Ceam'

Anne McKeehan of Big Lake has lots of reasons for opening her own ice cream shop, Fudgin’ Delicious Ice Cream, on Hwy. 10 in Big Lake, next to the Lake Cafe.

Lupulin Brewery to open in 2015

Big Lake will become home to Lupulin Brewery, a micro brewery with a tap room, which will open in the first quarter of 2015, say owners Jeff Zierdt and Matt Schiller.
