2 accidents in area

There were two accidents in the Big Lake area this week, one involving a car and the other a motorcycle. Neither driver was seriously injured.
The first was a rollover accident in the eastbound lane of Hwy. 10 by Co. Rd. 11 Monday morning shortly after 9 a.m.
A white Ford Mustang driven by Kyle Melchert of Glencoe ended up in the ditch. A second driver, unidentified, may have been involved in this incident.
Tuesday afternoon Thomas Nedry, 73, of Clements, MN, lost control of his 2004 Yamaha motorcycle in the gravel on the shoulder of Co. Rd. 14 at the intersection with Co. Rd. 30 and rolled over. Nedry was transported by CentraCare ambulance to the hospital in Monticello. It is believed his injuries are not life threatening.
