There will be changes on the Orrock Township Board of Supervisors following Tuesday’s elections. Shane Berg gathered 112 votes and Chair Charlie Gotzian had 71 votes. Write-in candidate Ron Dolly had 103 votes and incumbent Corrie Silverberg had 73 votes for the Supervisor C position. Jerry Peterson also had one vote. Laura Jones retains her position as township treasurer with 131 votes, defeating her write-in challenger Kevin Boynton, who had 49 votes. Several ballots were also cast, presumably for Dolly, with misspellings of his name. It took about 90 minutes for the three election judges to count the ballots. Clerk Brenda Kimberley Maas called to order a meeting of the supervisors to canvas the results as soon as they were announced. Supervisor Michael Eisinger was not present at the meeting. Supervisors Jeff Jones and Mike Meier were on hand for the meeting. These three were not up for election this year. The elections were followed by the township’s annual meeting.
