forces to host fundraiser

Sat., Feb. 28th the Becker-Big Lake Youth Hockey Association (BBLYHA) and Ice Association (BBLIA) hosted a Chili Feed & Hot Dog Fundraiser to help raise awareness and support for youth hockey in our communities and display the architectural plans for the proposed ice arena.
Tom, Dave and the staff at the Friendly Buffalo truly made the event a success by offering the use of the banquet facility and providing all of the food and beverage services. Over 300 attended the event and were served by volunteers from both organizations.
The event included door prizes, silent auctions, raffles, drawings and a hearty meal. Many local businesses offered donations to support the fundraiser and provided silent auction items to help raise money for youth hockey and a local ice arena.
