Of the 350 members to the 4-H, 330 brought an exhibit and participated in conference judging.
Of ribbons awarded 113 were champions, 84 were reserve champions, 1245 blue ribbons, 354 red ribbons and 65 white ribbons.
“Other than the surprise weather, the fair went really well, said Kathy Held of the Sherburne County 4-H extension.
“It’s so crazy how last year we had such cold weather compared to this years heat,” she said.
For the Arts-In performance, almost 50 4-Hers sang and danced earning themselves a trip to state fair competition in August.
A growing category this year were the Llama projects with seven youth participating and two winning state fair trips.
“It’s funny how some of the projects you would’nt expect to grow are growing,” says Held.
