It was a special evening at the Clearwater Legion Club last Friday, as more than 75 people gathered to witness a remarkable re-creation of one man’s memories of World War II.

The Emmy award winning a capella vocal group Tonic Sol-fa has spent time in Big Lake this week, talking and singing to students in the high school and giving the first performance of their Christmas Tour Friday evening in the auditorium.

A senior at Big Lake High School was recently chosen to participate in the National Choral Festival in New York City in February.

Wright County 4-H had an excellent showing at the Minnesota State 4-H Horse Show held Sept. 12-15.  4-H youth from across the state gathered together at the Coliseum at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St Paul to compete in Horse Showmanship, Games, Western Pleasure, English Pleasure, Western Heritage and more!
