James Patrick Agosto, age 63 of Monticello, passed away on Friday August 15, 2014 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.  Visitation  Thursday August 21, 2014 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello.  Further visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral on Friday.  Funeral services Friday

Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity held a  wall raising ceremony for a new house being constructed at 210 Powell Street last week through the Thrivent Financial Builds Three Rivers Build in Big Lake.

The City of Big Lake, Sherburne County and Big Lake School District are working together to help kids find a safe walking route to school.
