The Big Lake Ambassador Program hosts their annual Spring Tea and Style Show at Saron Lutheran Church Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Big Lake Ambassadors, Junior Ambassadors and Ambassador candidates will model the latest styles and fashions for the community.

The new Birth Center at the CentraCare Health Monticello opened one year ago March 4, and since that time, 290 babies have been born there. “That exceeds the hopes we had when we opened,” said hospital spokesperson Joni Pawelk. “We budgeted for 250.”

Tuesday’s snow storm played havoc with traffic and caused I-94 to be closed from Hasty to St. Cloud due to traffic accidents but it did not snow sufficiently to close area schools.
