Sheri Lieffring directed the middle school winter choir concerts in the high school last week. The choirs were accompanied on piano by Mary Ebanks.
The sixth grades began their concert at 6 p.m., starting with Peace on this Silent Night, written by Cristi Cary Miller. Miller also wrote their second song, Winter Troika Ride.
The select choir took the stage to sing four songs, Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Lillian Beutler, Sierra Donaghue, Alexandria Enebak, Isabelle Hanson, Allie Heltemes, Abigail Jendro, Ashley Jensen, Kirsten Kartak and Alexis Nau sang the descant in Starry Night of Winter, written by Laura Farnell.
Steve Nelson and Jack Rollins wrote the words and music of Frosty Hand Jive, arranged by Jill Gallina. Alexis Nau, Nathan Hedstrom, Rose Bailey, Ray-Quown Wehye, Emma Curtis and Luke Noble held the FROSTY signs.
