“E3” 2022: the June conferences presented in detail

The months of June and July are an opportunity for gamers to come out of their lairs, with the arrival of the big video game fairs. Despite the cancellation of E3, the biggest studios are still planning their exhibitions, the schedule of which is detailed for you.

We told you in the chapô, the beginning of summer is the most important time of the year for the video game industry. Indeed, the biggest video game fairs in the world are held there, with E3 unfortunately canceled in 2021, and EA Play in particular. However, for us fans, it’s also the time to look up from our keyboard to marvel (or not) at the many projects and novelties that small and large development studios are concocting for us. Although we approach certain announcements with more and more skepticism after the terrible year that was 2021 and the catastrophic releases of Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield 2022, everyone will inevitably be able to find their happiness during these few weeks of cosmopolitan and optimistic boiling. If you want to learn more about the various conferences already planned, despite the cancellation of E3 2021, the Summer Game Fest or EA Play editions 2021, you’ve come to the right place

Xbox and Bethesda (Sundays 12 June at 19h)

You’ve known this for a while now, but Xbox and Bethesda are now fighting under the same banner. And what better idea for these two industry behemoths than to team up for a major conference? Not really. The two companies have decided to give us an appointment on 12 June next, for a conference broadcast live on Twitch and Youtube. We expect the first images of the long-awaited space RPG from Bethesda, Starfield, the developer’s “most ambitious” project to date, but also of Fable 4, the sequel to the feared and formidable RPG from Xbox. Of course, this will also be an opportunity for Microsoft’s console to flex its muscles by unveiling a few high-level exclusives.

PC Gaming Show (Sunday 12 June at ?)

Of course, no video game party would be complete without a show exclusively reserved for keyboard and mouse players. the PC Gaming Show is therefore scheduled for 12 next June, and will be an opportunity for some big titles to show some gameplay sequences, but also for smaller games and independent studios to tell us about their projects and present their creations. Of course, PC gaming will be at the heart of this conference, but not only that, we will also find console titles as well as interviews with personalities and developers.

Future Games Show (Sunday 12 June at ?)

It seems that the hosts of events dedicated to video games have happened word. See you on 12 June also for the Future Games Show, the conference organized by the American magazine GamesRadar. You can find trailers and exclusive images of some of the biggest releases of the year, on console and PC. But you should know that Gamesradar has decided to reserve a significant part of the event for more independent exhibitors and unique projects.

As of now, no other exact dates have been confirmed for the upcoming video game conferences in 2022. Stay tuned for more information later in May.
